13th ACBS 2008 ALL-ASIAN BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT RULES
1.THIS IS AN ALL ASIAN TOURNAMENT. WE WILL
CONSIDER IF THEY ARE AN ASIAN MIX. SORRY, DUE TO PAST PROBLEMS, ANYONE THAT IS NOT ASIAN WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE
IN THE GAME, BUT PLEASE COME AND SUPPORT YOUR ASIAN FRIENDS AND HAVE A CHANCE TO SHOOT FOR $!
2.MINUTES: The games
will consist of 12 minute halves with 2 timeouts per half. The clock will only stop for injuries or the last 2 minutes of
the 2nd half.
3.ROSTER: All players must be on the initial roster that is turned into the game officials before their
first game. Anyone that is caught playing with another team will not be able to play in the whole tournament, and that team
will be assessed a technical foul.
4.BE READY: When your team is up to play, you must have 5 players on the court
or your team will be disqualified. The team will also take a loss for that game.
5.SUBSTITUTIONS: Players can only
sub in on a dead ball. If this does not happen, your team will be assessed a delay of game. 2 delay of games will result in
a technical foul.
6.FOULS & BONUSES: Each player is allowed to have 5 personal fouls. A technical foul will also
be considered a personal foul. BONUSES: Per each half of the game, a team will shoot 1-on-1 free throw(s) on the 7th team
foul. And they will shoot 2 free throws for the 10th team foul, and thereafter.
7.TECHNICAL FOULS: Will be assessed
for the following actions. Actions can be toward another player, the opposing team, or game and tournament officials. All
technical fouls will be result in 2 free throws and the same team shooting free throws will receive the ball.
*Excessive
abusive language/cussing, taunting, delay of game, flagrant fouls
*Fighting; anyone who is involved in any fights will
be automatically ejected and have their team disqualified from the tournament. No refunds here!
*1st technical foul (TF)
= ejection from the current game. 2nd TF = Ejection from the basketball tournament and banned from church premises.
8.NO
TOLERANCE-EJECTION NOTICE: Game or tournament officials can eject any player during any period of the tournament if there
is detrimental, abusive, excessive, or derogatory conduct, which can be harmful to the teams, fans, tournament officials,
or church property.
9.OVERTIME RULES: 1st overtime (OT) = 5 mins, with 2 timeouts per team. Fouls will be carried
over from the 2nd half. Clock will stop the last minute of the game. 2nd, 3rd, and subsequent OTs will be played with an additional
2 mins, and NO TIMEOUTS. Clock will stop the last 30 secs of the game.
10.PROCEEDS: All proceeds will benefit the

We have read all the rules of the tournament and will abide by them. This is the complete roster our
team will compete with throughout the whole tournament. Please refer to the 2nd page for the roster listing. There is no limit
to the number of players on a team. We will honor and abide by all tournament rules. Failure to do so, may lead to dismissal
from the tournament as a whole team or an individual player.
